It depends on three things: how many pages you need, whether it's a presentation website or an application with logins and databases, and how much of the content we produce for you.

Our pricing starts at ₹25,000 for a business website of up to five pages — design, development, mobile optimisation, basic search setup and launch. A larger site of up to twelve pages with proper service pages and search setup starts at ₹50,000. Custom web applications and online stores start at ₹75,000 and are quoted against a written scope. All figures exclude GST.

You get a firm number in writing within one working day of us understanding what you need — no hourly billing, no surprises at the end.

Because "website" covers two different things. A presentation site — pages, images, a contact form — is largely design and content work. An application with customer logins, a database and payments is software, with the architecture, security and testing that implies.

A ₹8,000 website is almost always a template with your logo dropped in. It will look acceptable and it will not do much for you. What you're paying for above that is custom code, pages built around what your customers actually search for, and someone accountable when something breaks.

About two weeks from the point we have your content and approvals. Larger applications are scheduled individually, and we agree the timeline in writing before starting. Delays usually come from waiting on content, so we tell you exactly what we need on day one.

If a project genuinely suits WordPress — say your team wants to publish daily without us — we'll tell you honestly rather than sell you the more expensive option.

Ask for work they've delivered and check it loads fast on your phone. Ask who maintains it after launch and what that costs. Ask whether you own the code. Ask for the timeline and scope in writing before paying anything.

Any company that won't answer those four plainly is telling you something.
